About Our Logs
What types of logs do you supply?
We supply kiln-dried hardwood logs in three options: Oak, Ash, and Mixed Hardwood. Each box is carefully packed to ensure consistent size, quality, and performance.
Are your logs kiln-dried?
Yes. All BurnBox logs are kiln-dried to a low moisture content, making them clean-burning, easy to light, and highly efficient.
Are your logs Ready to Burn certified?
Yes. Our logs meet the government “Ready to Burn” standard, meaning they are safe, legal, and suitable for immediate use.
Can I burn your logs straight away?
Absolutely. Our logs arrive ready to use straight from the box — no seasoning or drying required.
What size are the logs?
Our logs are cut to a consistent length of between 20cm and 25cm, making them suitable for most wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, chimineas and fire pits.
Ordering & Subscriptions
Do you only sell logs in boxes?
Yes. We specialise solely in boxed log deliveries — no loose loads, no bulk dump bags, and no collections.
Can I place a one-off order?
Yes. You can purchase a single box whenever you need it, with no ongoing commitment.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes. Our flexible subscription service allows you to receive regular deliveries without the hassle of reordering.
How often can subscription deliveries be made?
You can choose delivery intervals between 1 and 6 weeks, depending on how often you use your fire.
Can I change, pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes. Subscriptions are fully flexible and can be adjusted, paused or cancelled at any time.
Delivery
Do you deliver directly to my door?
Yes. All orders are delivered directly to your door for maximum convenience.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. As long as there is a safe place to leave the box, delivery can be completed while you’re out.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver across England, Wales and most of Scotland. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, just get in touch.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary by location, but orders are typically delivered within 2 working days.
Is delivery free?
Yes — delivery is free on orders over £30.
Storage & Use
How should I store my logs?
We recommend storing your logs in a dry, well-ventilated area, ideally off the ground. Our boxes are designed to offer short-term protection, but indoor storage is best for long-term use.
Can I store the logs indoors?
Yes. Because they are kiln-dried and clean, they’re suitable for indoor log stores or utility spaces.
Are your logs suitable for open fires and wood-burning stoves?
Yes. BurnBox logs are suitable for wood-burning stoves, open fires, multi-fuel stoves, chimineas and fire pits.
Sustainability & Quality
Where do your logs come from?
Our logs are responsibly sourced from sustainably managed woodlands right here in the UK.
Are your logs environmentally friendly?
Yes. Burning kiln-dried logs produces less smoke and fewer emissions compared to wet wood, making them a cleaner heating option. We also kiln dry from excess heat used in the production of clean energy at our biomass plant.
Do you add any chemicals or treatments to the logs?
No. Our logs are 100% natural — simply cut, kiln-dried and packed.
