Our Wood

We only use the finest British hardwoods, chosen for heat, character, and consistency. Ash, the king of home fires, burns bright and clean. Oak offers long, slow heat, perfect for cooking or saunas. Our mixed hardwoods bring balance and value. Every log is kiln-dried to around 12% moisture, ensuring a reliable, low-smoke burn — beautifully efficient and ready to light the moment it arrives.

Responsible & Sustainable

Sustainability is at the heart of BurnBox. Our wood comes from responsibly managed UK forests, in partnership with the Forestry Commission and local tree surgeons. Kiln drying is powered by renewable heat from our nearby biomass plant, creating a closed-loop system that uses crops we grow ourselves. Recycled, plastic-free packaging and carbon-neutral delivery complete a process that’s as clean for the planet as it is for your hearth.
